I’ve been passionate about creativity for as long as I can remember. When I got my first record player at 10, I was captivated by the power of recorded music and how art could travel through infrastructure and reach people far beyond its origin. That early fascination never left me.
Over time, it evolved into two parallel callings: creating as a musician and writer, and working at the moments when distribution infrastructure reshapes how creative work reaches the world.
For more than two decades, I have operated at the intersection of media and emerging technology, from early digital downloads to streaming platforms, connected devices, voice AI, and now generative AI. Across more than 100 partnerships and licensing deals, I have helped companies navigate major industry transitions while protecting the long-term value of creative assets.
Today, through DS Digital, I work with content owners and IP-driven businesses to understand how their leverage changes as technology evolves and to structure partnerships that preserve control, durability, and strategic positioning.
I continue to write songs and screenplays and perform with my band WhiskeyHouse. That creative work is not separate from my professional life. It informs it. I understand the emotional and economic stakes of creative work because I live on both sides of the equation.
Born and raised in Carmel, California, and now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I remain committed to the same underlying mission:
To make the world a more creative and interesting place.
